
1st Day
------------
Plane delayed for about half n hour..Very suay.. My skin(the part that surround my lip) got burned !! Then got red patches.. Damn paiseh la.. !! LOL.. Ma jiam like Love Bite.. HAHA.. Well.. took about 4 hours + de plane.. Reached Taipei airport at around 5.30p.m.. THEN... It took me and my family about an hour to CHECK OUT !! OMG.. The processor de service too slow le !! Well.. I love Taipei aka Taiwan !! The weather damn cooling.. around 13 degree when i reached there.. SONG.. especially when u are wearing only t-shirt and jean.. LOL.. Well.. First day de programme changed.. Actually going to Shihlin Night Market, the largest night market in Taipei.. But due to the rain ( heng , it stopped when we arrived ), alot of shops will be closed.. So.. Changed to steamboat.. Eat finish le then go to our first hotel..

2nd Day
------------
First stop: Martyrs Shrine..Observe the changing of guard's procession ceremony..Tour guide said "Go there to see Shuai Ges ( Armies).. " HAHA.. Their performance was nice.. LOL.. 2nd stop: Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, which boasts traditional Chinese architectural fectures in majestic splendour. Oh.. Chiang Kai Shek had not buried yet.. LOL.. ( about 30 years le i think).. 3rd stop: Chiufen, the filming site of the film, 'Sad City' and stop by a small, prosperous village with many shops selling famous local dishes and snacks. Thereafter, embark on a scenic rail journey ( 2 hours +), which travels along the East Coast Highway to Hualien.. Xin ku the bus driver of ours.. drove 5 hours non-stop to Hualien whereas we ( 35 ppls ) took train ( 2hrs+).. LOL.. well.. Eat finish dinner then to our second hotel..

3rd Day

Visit Taroko Gorge to admire the marvellous geological features in Swallow Caves ( nv go to this "cave" becos too dangerous ) and Nine Turn Grotto. Then, enjoy a scenic drive along the East Coast Highway to Taitung. Stop at the Caves of the Eight Immortals, which has archaeological evidece from the Palaeolithic period. Continue to the Terrace of the Three Immortals, known as sanshiantai, to view nature's work in sea-eroded potholes and caves, and rare coastal vegetation.
Next, stay overnight in a well-known hot spring hotel, and discover the therapeutic remedies of natural spring water by soaking in its indoor and outdoor pools. Also, experience a sumptuous seafood dinner, where u can savour local seasonal delicacies.. ( nice ).. Regarding the hot spring, it was my first time entering a hot spring with my SEXY red swimming trunk.. HAHA.. 39.7 degree sia.. Roasted Pig.. HAHA.. Then went to nearby stall to taste smelly tou fu ( my first time ).. LOL.. disgusting smell .. LOL.. Like no diff from normal tou fu except the sauce.. LOL..

4th Day

After breakfast, head to Meinong Hakka Village, the hometown of paper umbrellas and Hakka culture. Explore this town, which is steeped in Hakka history and culture, and view many charming traditional houses. Proceed to Fokuangshan, the 'Light of Buddha' Mountain. Here, you will see a 120-metre golden Buddha Amitabha statue with 480 standing Buddha statues, surrounded by flowing water and lush foliage. Move on to the Spring and Autumn Pavilions, which have two gigantic dragon and tiger statues, before stopping at the Pearl Culture Centre. Lastly, visit the Liuho Night Market... OH YA.. That's something i would not forget !! My tour guide/escort actually bought a birthday cake for me and my Dad ( since his bday reaching soon.. shun bian..) LOL.. Damn shocked and happy la.. Everyone sang bday song to us.. HAHA.. This year very special.. Received two birthday cakes.. HAHA.. My sweetest 18 of my life.. xD.. Hmm.. Mum gave me a hongbao.. while my dad gave me something unique and special this year.. A lucky gem.. HAHA.. Which he bought it yesterday(18/12) .. S$200 ++ sia.. HAHA..

5th Day

After a brief Kaohsiung city tour in the morning, proceed to Alishan ( 2-14 degree) for another close encounter with nature. The Alishan Forest Recreation Area is a popular tourist spot located 3,000 metres above sea level, boasting cool weather that supports a unique ecosystem and scenic beauty. Its enchanting natural scenery has made Alishan one of Taiwan's top destinations for enjoying nature's beauty. Take a leisurely stroll to enjoy lovely natural sights, such as Sisters Pond, the alishan Sacred Tree, the Three Generations Trees and Shouzhen Temple, among others. Then, continue your journey to Taichun and enjoy dinner at Five Cent Driftwood Restaurant. Thereafter, visit Feng Jia Night Market t savour various snacks... Today de dinner was the best among the 7 days..LOL.. The interior design very chio( The boss of the restaurant is a designer, she design all the restaurants she had by herself.. Very nice and creative.. LOL.. including the food they served.. ) =D..

6th Day

Proceed to Miaoli's Zhuolan, Taiwan's Fruits harvesting area to visit Taisan Leisure Farm, where you can pick, eat and buy the array of luscious fruits at the farm. Visit the Leofoo Village Theme Park and Zoo; an enclosure with more than 100 gorillas, gibbons, and other rare primates of almost 30 species. Next, move on to Princess Mao Linzhi Specialty Store. In the evening, you will visit Shihlin Night Market, the largest night market in Taipei where you can indulge in a huge variety of local snacks.Lastly, head to Taipei 101 shopping mall for some shopping. Some of our tour group including me and my family went to take the World Fastest Elevator in the world.. Entry fee: NT$320 ( SG$16) for children, NT$350 (SG$17.5) for adult.. Shiok.. From 5th storey to 89th storey in just 37 seconds.. LOL.. Nice scenery.. There was a ball that weigh 6600 tonnes on 89th storey high.. If i am not wrong, it was to prevent earthquake or withstand earthquake.. not sure though..

7th Day

This morning, visit the National Palace Museum, which houses the world's largest collection of ancient Chinese treasures, before heading to Lucky Charm Centre. Thereafter, proceed to Tamshui to visit the historic Tamshui Old Street, famous for its 'iron-eggs' and well-preserved buildings. At dusk, you can take a leisure stroll along Fisherman's wharf, the filming site of the popular Tv drama serial. ' Meteor Garden' and admire the beautiful sunset on Tamjiang ( Lover's Bridge), acclaimed as one of Taiwan's eight resplendent scenic attractions. After dinner, visit the Miramar Entertainment Park, where you may take a ride in one of the largest Ferris wheels in Asia at your own expense to view the beautiful night scene of Taipei. Lastly, visit Ximenting to shop for the trendiest buys..Tour guide and bus driver left us instead of tmr ( 23/12).. Why? Tour guide just received a call from company to take over a 1 day tour in Taipei (( Lack of tour guide i think.. LOL )).. Well.. Bus driver too... So how? The company sent another driver and tour guide to send us to airport tmr.. LOL..

8th Day
------------
Have to check-out by 12p.m.. So.. Me and my family checked out at 11 am + .. Then go nearby to shop.. Oh ya.. We had to report in hotel by 3 p.m.. Taipei's weather really sot sot de.. suddenly hot.. suddenly strong breeze.. HAHA.. but nvm.. It is still cooling.. =P.. Hmm.. Nothing more to add from here.. =P..

Conclusion

It was definitely fun.. HAHA.. The local tour guide rocks ~.. Comparing my previous tour group de tour guide ( either in talking or introducing the country ) , definitely this Taiwan's tour guide scored more.. HAHA.. Not I biased but she just very talkative and say alot of funny things.. haha.. Made all of us laugh out loud~~ Buay ta han.. ~~HUMUROUS~ .. LOL.. From the very first day, she said she is our Step Mother.. Have to take care of our safety and so on.. Called herself as " 7 stars" tour guide.. and "6 stars" tour escort and "5 stars" bus driver.. HAHA.. Fully agreed.. Well.. Overall, I love the trip especially the weather.. But.. Sian.. Lazy to mention.. LOL.. K la.. will stop here.. type until so much.. very naggy.. xD.. Take caRe gUys..
